Emmanuel Bourdeix, CIO, Head of Quantitative Management
Emmanuel Bourdeix began his career in 1995 at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson as arbitrage analyst and structurer. In 1998, he joined CAAM (now Amundi) where he acted as portfolio manager, then head of convertible bonds and volatility in 2002 and finally head of satellite equity management in 2006. In 2007, he was appointed deputy CIO of equity and diversified management and, then head of equity Europe, world and emerging countries.
In 2010, he joined the Natixis group as co-CIO of Natixis Asset Management (now Ostrum Asset Management) and member of the executive committee. He supervised the equities, asset allocation & structured products portfolio management teams, with a focus on Seeyond, an investment division specialised in quantitative management. When Seeyond became a stand-alone affiliate of Natixis Invesment Managers in 2018, he became the CEO.
Since 2023, he is CIO quantitative management at Ostrum Asset Management and member of the executive committee.
Emmanuel Bourdeix holds an engineering degree from École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées and a DEA [post-graduate diploma] in probabilities and finance from the Paris Sorbonne University.
